FALLS TRANSFER

Take a “Falls transfer” flight to the Mitchell Falls, land and walk back to camp, or walk into the Falls and catch a “Falls transfer” flight back to the campground. Both flights include a short scenic over the Mitchell Falls & Big Mertens Falls.

Fly downstream via the Mitchell River to the Lower Mitchell Falls - where the fresh water meets the salt. Orbit the Falls and fly back up the river through the gorge to the Mitchell Falls.

Fly over the Mitchell Plateau to the waters of Admiralty Gulf. Follow the coast from Walsh Point to Crystal Head, looking for marine life, then across to the Crystal Creek - following the edge of the Plateau and over to Walmsley Bay. Back upstream on the Mitchell River, over Lower Mitchell Falls, Mitchell Falls  & Big Mertens Falls.
